The Option XYfi is the world's smallest personal 3G wifi hotspot, concealed within the form factor of a USB 3G modem.
The unit can be used either as a regular USB modem, or can optionally be used to provide wifi coverage to additional clients when connected to a PC, or can be used as a standalone wifi router without the need for a PC.
Also featuring a microSD slot the XYfi can be used as a portable storage device and media server.

The Option GlobeSurfer III Plus 3G Router can be used as a cellular Internet gateway for remote locations or field-based installations, providing access to any IP-based device sat "behind it" providing that the unit has been assigned a public IP address by the cellular provider.
To configure port forwarding on the device, you should first ensure that you have correctly configured and tested the Internet connection on the unit. Read this article for more information - http://blog.brightpointuk.co.uk/configuring-option-globesurfer-iii-plus-...

The GlobeSurfer III Plus is the successor to the GlobeSurfer III, providing high-speed cellular access to the Internet via Ethernet or WiFi as well as providing file and printer server capability, firewall, VPN and port forwarding features.
To configure the unit for Internet access, insert your SIM card into the unit and power it on.

With mobile broadband becoming increasingly accessible and affordable, and with "cloud-based" email and document hosting services becoming more prevalent - the need for reliable high-speed access to the Internet for both businesses and prosumers is a burgeoning market.
Option have developed the uCAN Connect skinable and customisable dashboard application, together with customisable and replaceable hardware covers for their new range of iCON USB modems.

The Option XY is the latest generation of USB modem for the consumer market, developed in direct response to the growing demand for customisation. Not only can the hardware itself be customised (top & bottom decorative covers), but also the software and packaging.
