HTC have released an updated version of the HTC Sync for Android application. This release supports all HTC Android models, including the original Hero provided that it is running the Android 2.1 update.
The installer will update existing installations, including the HTC Driver which will be updated to version 3.0.0.005, as well as install Adobe AIR 2.5.1.17730:

HTC have released an Android 2.2 ("Froyo") update for the Wildfire. Available over the air, the update brings added functionality including the ability to use the device as a wireless 3G access point, not to mention updates to Flash, the Android Market and the ability to install latest versions of all of Google's goodies.

HTC have released an updated version of the HTC Sync for Android application that provides support for all HTC Android devices running 2.1 or later of the Android operating system, including the Hero, Legend, Desire and Wildfire.
This means you can now enjoy Windows Media Player and iTunes synchronisation on all of the above devices as well as synchronisation of pictures, documents and bookmarks with the desktop, not to mention synchronisation of contacts and calendar with Outlook.

The latest version of the HTC Sync application, version 3.0, supports all HTC Android devices running Android 2.1 or later and adds the ability to synchronise with iTunes on Windows, provided that you are running iTunes 9.2 or later.
Simply select Music and select which Playlists you wish to synchronise with the device.

The Wildfire is HTC's latest Android-based "Superphone". Designed very much with social networking at its core, the Wildfire brings you closer to your online contacts with a raft of clever tools including the ability to view all of your Facebook, Twitter and Flickr updates all in one feed, organise emails, SMS text messages and photos by the person that sent them, as well as displaying contacts' Facebook status together with their caller ID when they ring. As HTC's own tagline has it: with the Wildfire, your friends have never been closer.
