The Pro from Motorola is a full Qwerty Android 2.2-powered Smartphone designed with both consumers and business professionals in mind: the Pro provides you with instant access to contacts, meetings and documents and allows you to manage your schedule, sync with your computer and check email whilst browsing the web, taking and sharing photos and listening to your favourite music.
The Pro also includes business level security features including data encryption as well as the ability to remotely wipe the contents of both the phone and memory card.

The below video shows the device in action:

The Pro features the usual 7 homescreens that Android users are now familiar with, accessed by swiping to the left and right of centre, your current location being displayed at the bottom of the screen as you swipe. By default the homescreen is a blank canvas enabling you to customise it to your personal taste via widgets, shortcuts and hardware toggles:

If that wasn't enough, the Pro also features 3 homescreen profiles: "home", "work" and "weekend", effectively giving you up to 21 homescreens and enabling you to keep your most accessed applications and shortcuts on the your main screen at the touch of a button without the need to rearrange the screen as your usage of the device changes between work and social activities

The list of applications loaded on the Pro as standard is as follows:

The Motorola Pro supports multiple Exchange email accounts as well as POP and IMAP email standards. When used with Microsoft Exchange your email messages, contacts and calendar information is synchronised automatically as soon as it changes on the server, or can optionally be set to synchronise on a schedule if preferred.

All email folders are available, and can be set to also synchronise automatically if required, or manually when accessed, on a per-folder level.

Messages can also be arranged by date, by conversation, by read status or by flagged status:

The Pro also boasts a nice feature whereby messages with large attachments can be forwarded without the need to have to first download that attachment to the device before it can then be forwarded, reducing your data costs:

Note this feature requires Exchange 2007 or later.
Office documents can be viewed on the move on the Pro thanks to the inclusion of the Quickoffice software:

Your out of office status and message can also be set and edited from the device, including support for internal and external automatic replies:

Email signatures can also be configured on the Pro, with individual email signatures available for each email account configured on the device.
Featuring a mobile wireless hotspot, the Pro can share its high-speed 3G connection to the Internet with any device that has WiFi capability: perfect for connecting your laptop or tablet device to the Internet when on the move. The wireless connection can optionally be secured to prevent unauthorised access to your Internet connection.
The Pro can also share its Internet connection via USB on Windows PCs.
The Phone Portal feature of the Pro allows you to manage data on the phone from your PC web browser via WiFi. Provided that both the phone and the PC are connected to the same wireless network, when enabled on the phone its IP address is displayed on the screen:

By entering this same IP address into the web browser on your PC you manage all manner of data on the phone including contacts, text messages, bookmarks and more:

For enterprise customers, the Pro also features a bespoke Virtual Private Networking (VPN) client that provides greater connectivity options than the standard Android client:

DLNA certification means that the Pro can further be used to share media with any other DLNA-capable device, be it displaying photos or videos captured with the Pro's camera on a television, or copying media onto the phone from a media server

For IT administrators, the Motorola Pro supports the following password usage Exchange ActiveSync policies:
as well as the following device security measures:
for the data conscious, the following Exchange ActiveSync policies are also supported:
The Battery Manager feature on the Pro enables you to maximise the already impressive battery life of the phone by automatically disabling unused hardware elements during specific times (overnight for example):

Custom profiles can be created. The built-in Task Manager lets you keep track of what applications are running on your device and how much memory is being used by those applications, letting you quickly and easily "kill" unwanted applications to ensure the Pro keeps running at peak efficiency:

The Data Saver feature allows you to minimise your data charges by only allowing specific applications to connect over WiFi:
