For those of you who travel regularly, and need to travel light, the M Dictionary project has written a number of English-Language dictionaries that can be accessed on your Symbian mobile phone - not only offering direct word translation but placing each searched word into a typically used phrase. The M Dictionary project is completely free and can be downloaded from the SourceForge web site:
http://mdictionary.sourceforge.net
There are 2 components to download and install onto your phone: the M Dictionary application itself (1MB) and one or more of the dictionaries available (sizes vary, the English-German dictionary is 6MB in size: so I'd recommend installing onto a memory card rather than the phone's internal memory if space is an issue).
Available dictionaries include:
Once installed, the M Dictionary application is listed in the Installations folder:

Launch the application and choose from the tabs at the top of the screen whether you wish to search the English dictionary or the foreign dictionary. Enter the word you wish you wish to search for, results will be displayed:

Select the appropriate word. The translation of that word will be returned as well as that word used in a commonly used prhase:

Einfach Klasse!
