The PlayBook features a built-in VPN client compatible with Cisco VPN concentrators. To configure the VPN connection, launch the Settings view by clicking on the icon of the cog in the top right hand corner of the screen. Select Security, the above screen will be displayed.
Select VPN:

Select the option to Add New VPN connection:

Enter a name for the VPN connection.
In the Server Address field enter in the IP address of the VPN concentrator (note the IP address is required rather than the FQDN)
Select Cisco as the type of VPN server.
Specify whether you wish to use Group or Certificate authentication. If using Group authentication enter in the group name and shared secret as well as your personal username and password (username may need be completed in the form "domain\username" depending on your configuration).
Tap Save when all settings have been completed.
Your connection will now be listed. Tap Connect to initiate the VPN connection. After a few moments you will be connected to the VPN and will be able to browse intranets via the device browser or use remote desktop applications such as VNC, available from the AppStore.
