Featuring Android 2.2, the Dell Streak 7 ships with Exchange ActiveSync capability out of the box.
To configure your Exchange email account, open the Email application from the Home screen or from the program menu

The new account wizard screen will be displayed:

Enter in your email address and password and tap Next:

You will be prompted to specify the type of email account you want to create, select Exchange:

The wizard will attempt to determine the correct settings to use automatically. If it is not able to, return back to new account screen and select the option to perform a Manual Setup:

Enter in your Domain followed by your username in the form "domain\username"
If you are unsure of the correct settings to use, consult your IT department. Normally the Domain will be the same as that entered on your Windows PC when you log in (the contents of the Log Into field beneath your username and password on the Windows login screen)
Enter in your normal Windows password
Enter in the name of the Exchange server, this will normally be the same as that used to access Outlook Web Email, in the form "mail.company.com"
If your Exchange server uses a self-signed certificate you will need to tick the option to Accept all certificates.
When all fields are complete, tap Next.
If the Exchange server requires that security policies be applied onto the device, you will be notified:

Tap OK to acknowledge.
You can then specify how much mail you want to synchronise as well as whether you wish to synchronise contacts and calendar folders also:

You will then be prompted to enter a name to identify the email account:

You will now receive more detailed information about the policies that the Exchange server has applied to the device:

You can now access your Inbox, including subfolders:

Should you wish to edit any of the settings at a later stage, including your default email signature, select Account Settings from the menu:

Your email account has been configured.
