Setting up a Microsoft Exchange email account on Windows Phone 7.5
From the home screen, tap on the option for Email. If you are setting up an email account for the first time you will be prompted to choose what type of email account you want to configure. If you already have an email account configured, tap on the menu button and select the option to Add email account:
Select Outlook as the type of email account to create:
You will be prompted to enter your email address and password. Enter the details and tap Sign In. Windows Phone will attempt to determine the correct connection settings to use automatically. If it is not able to determine these settings, you will be prompted to enter your username and domain:
This information will be the same information used to log into your Windows PC in the office, if you have one. The Domain information can be located from the PC in the "Log Into" field on the lock screen. Or alternatively contact your IT department for the correct information to use. Enter the required information and tap Sign In.
If you see an error that the settings could not be determined, tap on the Advanced button:
Enter in the Server address of your Exchange server. Again contact your IT department if you do not know this information, but if you access your email through a web browser on your PC, then the server address will normally be the same address as that used to access webmail (in the form "mail.company.com", for example).
Enter in the information and tap Sign In again, now you should find that you connect and data starts to synchronise:
To adjust synchronisation settings, tap on the menu button and select Settings
and then on Synchronisation Settings:
Here you can enable and disable items to sync:
as well as adjust server settings:
