RIM have announced BlackBerry Mobile Fusion (www.blackberry.com/mobilefusion), their bolt-on device management platform for BES 5.0.3 which provides support for Android and iOS devices besides BlackBerries. The platform is based on software developed by Ubitexx, the company they acquired a few years ago. Coming next year, BlackBerry Mobile Fusion will provide a number of device management, security and compliance features:

Problem

Your BlackBerry Smartphone has multiple "Desktop" address books listed, and you are not able to synchronise via the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Cause

This can be caused when a device is added, or re-added, to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) under a new user account without first being security wiped to remove the previous owner's information.
